Philippine Lottery FAQ
Quick, clear answers about PCSO lotto, from draw times to taxes.
What is the Philippine lottery?
The Philippine lottery usually refers to draw games run by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), such as Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45, Lotto 6/42, 6D, 4D, Swertres 3D and EZ2 2D. Part of the proceeds funds charity and health programs.
What time are PCSO lotto draws?
Major lotto games (6/58, 6/55, 6/49, 6/45, 6/42, 6D and 4D) are drawn at 9:00 PM on their scheduled days. Swertres 3D and EZ2 2D are drawn daily at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. See our draw schedule guide for each day.
Which PCSO lotto game has the best odds?
Among the six-number games, Lotto 6/42 has the best jackpot odds at 1 in 5,245,786. Ultra Lotto 6/58 has the longest odds at 1 in 40,475,358 but usually the biggest jackpot.
How much tax is deducted from lotto winnings?
Under the TRAIN Law, PCSO winnings above ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% final tax withheld at claiming. Winnings of ₱10,000 and below are generally tax-exempt.
How long do I have to claim a lotto prize?
PCSO prizes must generally be claimed within one year from the draw date. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited and go to the charity fund.
Can I play PCSO lotto online?
Only use channels officially announced by PCSO. Be wary of unofficial sites, apps or social media pages claiming to sell PCSO tickets. When in doubt, buy from an authorized physical outlet and check the official PCSO website.
Does this website sell lotto tickets?
No. PhilippineLottery.online is an independent information guide. We do not sell tickets, accept bets or handle prize claims, and we are not affiliated with PCSO.
What is the minimum age to play?
Lottery is for adults only. Our content is written for readers aged 21 and over, and we encourage everyone to play responsibly.
Is Lucky Pick better than choosing my own numbers?
No. Every combination has exactly the same chance of being drawn. Lucky Pick simply saves time. Choosing less popular combinations may reduce the chance of sharing a jackpot, but does not increase your odds of winning.
What is the difference between PCSO and PAGCOR?
PCSO runs lotto, digit games and sweepstakes to raise funds for charity. PAGCOR regulates casinos and other gaming operations. They are separate government entities.
